I can’t count how many times I’ve wanted to cry after filming an entire video, only to realize my mic wasn’t turned on or connected properly 😭 You will NOT catch me again! At this point, “testing, testing” is my creator ritual. Before every shoot, I record a quick 10-second clip and play it back. It takes seconds and has saved me from filming the whole thing twice. NEW UPDATE on the @insta360 Luna Ultra, so I had to take it out for a test! 👀 The highlights: 4K vertical video at 30fps, up to 15× zoom, and 4K Live Frame photos that now support Beauty Mode and filters. I wanted to see how they actually look in use. One thing I’ve noticed since updating: the remote trigger has been lagging and glitching after I disconnect it. That wasn’t happening before, so I’m still figuring out what’s going on. What do you think of the new features? And how does the image quality look to you?

Apparently, this is supposed to be one of the best vlogging cameras for solo creators in 2026, so of course I had to put it to the test immediately! These are just my first impressions + quick quality tests. I tried out the 3K portrait mode, wide-angle lens, Dolby Vision, I-Log, 8K recording, beauty mode, zoom quality and that detachable screen that basically doubles as your remote monitor + mic. As someone who films a lot of my content by myself, that detachable control might be one of my favorite features so far. And for the girls… yes, I tested the beauty mode too, what do we think? Is the Luna Ultra worth the hype?
